We’re proud to announce a new tank project for an ASU located in Croatia.
We’re launching a new project with two 1700m³ cryogenic flat bottom tanks. They’ll store large quantities of Liquid Oxygen (LOX) and Liquid Nitrogen (LIN). An air-separation unit (ASU) in the vicinity of the project will provide this gas.
Air separation units segregate atmospheric air into primary components through cryogenic distillation. This separates oxygen, nitrogen and other components naturally occurring in the air around us. The gases obtained are stored in liquid form to reduce their size so larger quantities of these gases can be moved on tanker trucks to consumers.
Cryospain: truly turnkey solutions
Cryospain will take care of everything from ordering through to commissioning. Our customer has entrusted Cryospain with every step of this project for the their separation unit. We won’t just tackle the design of the two tanks, but also the procurement of all materials, the kit manufacturing in our own workshops and assembly in Croatia.
From Cryospain’s headquarters in Pinto, Madrid, the technical team will carry out the engineering and design, as well as the choice of materials. First, they’ll use the latest 2D and 3D computer-aided design techniques to get customized models with all the characteristics of the cryogenic tanks. This includes details such as weight and height but also the more detailed technical characteristics of the materials used.
More than 20 years of experience in cryogenic engineering.
Our customers enjoy the peace-of-mind of putting their projects in the hands of engineers with more than 20 years of experience. We run comprehensive strength and flexibility studies of each tank part as well as on all the piping necessary for connection and performance. In addition, we’ll use finite element software and 3D design for this project’s two custom tanks.
We’ll manufacture the parts and elements in our two own production facilities. This is how we can guarantee the strict quality standards you, our customers, demand. Afterwards, we’ll ship everything in assembly kit format to the site of the air separation unit. There, our team of installers and site engineers will complete the installation of these two cryogenic tanks.
Lastly, we’ll will perform the relevant tests to ensure the tanks are ready to start storing Liquid Nitrogen and Liquid Oxygen.
Our goal: your satisfaction.
This is yet another project that positions Cryospain as one of the leading cryogenic engineering companies in the design and manufacture of cryogenic flat bottom tanks. We offer our customers advice and follow-up at all times. We’re also committed to solving problems and answering their questions. The result: their trust in us for large-scale international projects like this one.
Don’t hesitate to contact us today to bring you the cryogenic solutions that your project needs. We look forward to making your strategy a reality.
